No USB Cable to Setup my Leappad Ultra

I baught a 2nd hand Leappad Ultra for my son. I cannot connect it to my PC, as I was not given the USB Cable.

Is there a way around this? Can I connect and setup with Wifi?

Hi,

The LeapFrog has a 'mini' USB port so a mini USB to standard USB cable is what you need, to connect your PC to the Leapfrog. (see image)

You also need to download and install on your PC, LeapFrog Connect software so that the PC can recognize the LeapFrog and connect to it. Here is a link. Download the software for your particular model. http://www.leapfrog.com/en-us/support/co....

Not just any mini usb cable will work on the LeapPad Ultra. The port has a narrow opening, which requires a thin housing around the mini usb. Most mini usb cables have a housing that is too thick.
