Apple iPad 2 A1395
I have a shattered A1395 iPad 2 and a perfectly fine A1430 iPad 3 digitizer. Before disassembling the iPad 2 I want to know if the digitizer from A1430 will work on my A1395.

No, they are not the same. The cable length is different.

The lcd is fine, the digitizer is what's broken, and I'm aware I should buy a digitizer for the A1395, but here in my hands I have a digitizer from an A1430. Same size, appears to be the same connector, but I want to know if it works before disassembling the A1395

Yours is the wi-Fi only but the A1396 guide will work.
