Where is the Nike+ RF chipset?

The iphone 3GS and 4 does require any dongle to get information from the Nike+ sensor thing you put in your shoe, so the 2.4GHZ RF chip must already be build into the HW. I can't see it (mentioned) in your teardown.

Do you know where it is?

Could it be used to something else...

The Nike+ RF communication is handled by the Broadcom radio chip; see step 18 of iFixit's teardown.
