The output transister(s) are blown/not working. Where are they?

I have input from antenna but no output. Will not transmit, been told output transister(s) are gone. If I knew where they are I could replace them.

how do I know if they are npn or pnp? Any help please, thanks!

Answer this question I have this problem too

nicholashuntley the NPN vs PNP can best be determined by knowing what transistor you are dealing with. In the attached manual you will find the board layout and schematic with the transistors having a reference designated letter "Q". For example Q16 is a 2SC1015 transistor which has a NPN polarity. Check the datasheet for that on here. Anyhow hope this will help to get you started on your quest. Here is the service manual Midland 77-099 The scan is a bit hard to read
