unable to sign in to wireless after incorrect password

I changed the password on my WiFi. I was able to connect all my other devices but I must have hit a wrong key on my WiFi connection because "Authentication Failed" and now I cannot enter another password. I tried turning off WiFi and back on, turning off Kindle and back on, still will not let me try another pw. It is on the list with the "Authentication Failed" under the name and will not go to another pw screen.

Options

Some systems will lock you out for up to 24 hours after too many incorrect attempts. Good luck!

I only tried it once & I was locked out. Is this normal?
