Can the docking port on the the phone be replaced?

cannot connect cable to phone docking looks bent inside

you can buy the part here, and follow the repair guide for this here too. You need to buy the part for your model of iphone as 3g and 3gs aren't interchangeable.

or... you could try bending the bent pin back down using a flat head screw driver-doesn't always work but it's worth a try
