Jeremy,

Check out the video though for the method. Is the cavalier valve alot different than the impalas? Or is it that it's in a really tough to get to spot?

It seems like the process would be very similar.

Best of luck

in my 2002 Cavalier 2.2L (vin-4), the purge valve is in-between (behind) the engine (mid point) and in front of the firewall (mid point or toward the passenger side) and under the fuel rails of the engine (under and to the right of the computer module) which is under the air intake cover, anyone have or knows how to get to it?

An Impala is a v6/v8 rear wheel drive full size sedan. A Cavalier is a sub compact coupe or sedan. So its like comparing the HMS Titanic to the SS Minnow.

Joe did you ever figure it out? I have same issue and it looks like you have to take apart half the motor to get it out
