MacBook go to black screen after sleep, must restart, why?

Recently my MacBook Unibody (late 2011) SolidState Harddrive, 2.66 processor, 8GB DRAM has started to go into black screen after sleep and won't wake unless I do a hard shutdown. I changed the ram when I bought the unit to upgrade to 8GB.

But when I go into 'about this mac it says this:

Memory Slots:

ECC: Disabled

BANK 0/DIMM0:

Size: 4 GB

Type: DDR3

Speed: 1067 MHz

Status: OK

Manufacturer: 0x0198

Part Number: 0x393930353432382D3030352E4130324C4620

Serial Number: 0x4D389DCF

BANK 1/DIMM0:

Size: Empty

Type: Empty

Speed: Empty

Status: Empty

Manufacturer: Empty

Part Number: Empty

Serial Number: Empty

Does that mean one has failed? And is that why it goes to black?

Or am I looking in the wrong place?

Thanks a million!
