television was dropped and has a broken inner screen

The tv still turns on and lights up. Inner screen broke buy outter screen is okay. Can this be repaired? Its a brand new 65 inch LG tv flatscreen with hdmi.

jewels91772 sound slike a broken LCD. Your outer glass is still okay but your LCD is most likely broken. No, there is no repair for it. You will have to replace the LCD panel. Those LCD panels will cost more than a new TV if you can even obain one. The only real economical way of fixing it is by trying to obtain a broken TV (other than the LCD) of the same model than your, and harvest the LCD from that.
