I replaced my iPhone screen and it is now not turning on

I just replaced my iphone 6 screen for the second time and this time it won't turn on at all. When i've tried to charge it there has been no vibrate and itunes doesn't recognise it. I'm at a loss to as what went wrong as last time it went perfectly and i followed the exact same steps... Also, i know it's not dead as it had battery life before turning off.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Try disconnecting the battery, holding down the home button for a few seconds to drain any residual power, reconnecting the battery and then hard reseting the phone (Power + Home until apple logo appears). I have found that this little trick works quite frequently.

This. It seems to happen if you accidentally power on the iphone while the screen is unplugged and then fit the new screen. Just a hard reset is in most cases enough. Sometimes reconnecting the battery aswell.

Just an FYI: Battery should be unplugged at all times when doing repairs, only have it plugged in when you need to during testing. Never during replugs of other connectors.
