Help! Is this a rechargeable camera?

I just bought a Polaroid iS 2634 camera. Please tell me the 4 AA batteries it takes are not the only source of power. Is there some way to charge it/buy a charger for it?

Hi,

With cameras that take AA batteries, they are the only power source.

One way to prolong the battery is to purchase 4 x AA NiMH (NickelMetalHydride) rechargeable batteries and also an external battery charger that is suitable to charge them. The batteries cannot be charged in the camera. Most NiMH batteries can be recharged up to 500 times.

The other alternative is to purchase 4 x AA Lithium non rechargeable batteries. These batteries have a longer life than either standard carbon batteries or alkaline batteries. They are very expensive in comparison though.
