FL7500 filter present but still not registering as charging...

I recently replaced the battery on an iPad mini I bought off a friend. I am having the same problem as many of you in that the iPad is not registering that it is charging, and the common solution is to replace the FL7500 filter... however the filter is still present.

Help please?

I don't own any Apple products, but when my Android phone doesn't show as charging, I replace the usb charger and it usually works. Are you sure your ipad charger isn't going bad and needs replacing?

Yeah, it says that it is charging sorry but the percentage doesn't change. I have 2 functioning charging leads that work with my iPhone. Thanks anyway though

Options

Replace the filter the filter acts as a "gas gauge" if it's not going up it's the filter just because it's there doesn't mean it's good.
