Something fell on Xbox, won't power on.

Ok, so my toddler caused the middle shelf on my tempered glass tv stand to fall on top of my fiancées' Xbox one console that was on the lower level. something that has happened 4 or 5 times now, and always worked with no issues afterward. Not the case this time. After turning it on, the power button lights up like normal, then after about 5 seconds it cuts back off. Ive disconnected it completely and reconnected to assure no lose cords, but still nothing. You can hear something rattling inside of the console. Did something inside break? Can I fix this on my own? Please help!! I need it fixed immediately! He hasn't had it but 6 months

I would go find out how much it would cost to have microsoft fix it, and then depending on that decide if you want to open it and see what's wrong, note that if you open the console Microsoft WILL NOT fix it.

Let me know what your decision is...

If it's only been 6 months you should try to get Microsoft to fix it. It sounds like it's most likely the solder joints under one of the chips...probably the southbridge but it could be the APU or even some other chip on the board. Unfortunately this is not something that most people can fix on their own as the best fix would probably be to have someone put new solder balls on (it's called reballing).

Sorry, for the bad news. I hope this helps.
