No Video internal/external, no Backlight. But Sound is working.

Hi,

i hope anybody can help me.

My ibook dont show video on internal or external monitor. The Backlight is off too.

But i can hear the startsound and the system is booting.

i tried to reset the pmu and pram.

Also i tried the c-clamp solution.

The

VGC chip is bad - need a new logic board OR you might be able to have the VGC replaced ( expensive).

Are you sure that the VGC is Borken?

Because Why is the backlight not working too?

Could it be something Else?

I saw an onlineshop they repair exaclty this Problem for around 100$

So my Hope is that it is something Else.
