A gray bar on my display and the touch screen won't work?

So sometimes when I am using my iPhone 6 a gray bar appears across my screen which doesn't allow for touch screen access. It's a pain because I have to turn the phone off for a few seconds and power back on. That wouldn't be an issue if it happened rarely but it doesn't happen rarely.

Another issue that I can NOT believe Apple has not addressed in all this time is the alert notifications on the calendar. First alert and second alert. They always are screwed up and just don't work. I can only use one alert. why bother having a second one if it doesn't work?

I am truly tired of Apple products. I think I'm going to go back to a Samsung when I am able to upgrade. this phone is crap.

If it's a grey horizontal bar on top of screen, it's most likely the Touch IC issue, as explained here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45rRLkjd...

Not something that can be done as DIY, need someone that is experienced in replacing touch ICs for iPhones.

Bending or flexing the phone just gets the touch working for a little bit but then it'll just go bad again. The real fix is getting the touch IC chip(s) replaced by an well experienced board level repair technician.

I had this problem before (due to my screen being loose), not sure if this will work for you like it did for me, but simply pinch the top of the phone, if that doesn't work you're going to have to open it up and mess with the display connector, or just hope they replace it :^)
