HELP, am I doing right by adding this part?

Hello everyone! My phone is totally dead atm..

I would love some help here. Today a bought an iphone 6 pretty cheap and i knew there was someting wrong with it but i thought i would have it a go for repairing it myself.

#The Problem: it wont start up what so ever. No light, no sound - nothing. Have tried charged it for a while, i have tried to connect till both computer and wall. Have tried to replace the battery, chech the cables etc etc.

#What i know: The owner before me had a screen and backcamera-replacement by a phone workshop. And after that it worked for 2 months and then suddenly never wanted to boot up anymore.

#What it found out when i opened it up:

1. When i loosened the battery connectorcable there was some kind of transparent glue there. The same type of glue wich someone also had fastened their battery with to prevent it from sliding around. You are not supposed to use glue here right??

2. What might be the big issue(?) - When i compared this iphone to my other working iphone visually, i saw someing wierd. There was a piece missing. It was the "the antenna interconnect cable". But i have no idea what this one does or if its really necessary to have??!

I will link a perfect picture of it from this site: https://d3nevzfk7ii3be.cloudfront.net/ig...

Do you guys think my phone might boopup when adding this cable??

Hi, is that photo of the device itself or another device as an example? to answer your question no it still probably won't boot, this little cable has to do with the phone getting signal. I'd be looking for any signs of water damage or missing components on the main board after that I'd start testing battery, screen, port, buttons etc

@filidi " i think the LCD connector on the motherboard is broken somehow. The pins does not look aligned" for this reason alone you should realize the importance of posting pictures of your board, not just a picture of a good board. I am certain that this is connected to your LCD not lighting up. Use this guide for that.

I just read that you got your phone to show up in iTunes by replacing the battery. If your battery was bad, I bet your LCD may be bad too. I'd order a screen and replace it to see if it works. Depending on the quality of the LCD the repair shop used, you could have a bad LCD even thought it's not cracked.
