Why is my laptop making a loud noise around the fan area

Hello, so the problem is way before it got really serious. Before whenever it made a mad rattling shake and loud sound i just shut if off and when i turn it back again it's back to normal. But this time whenever i do the same procedure just a few minutes into using my laptop it makes this really scary sound and vibration here is a sample video. I don't think that it is on the hdd because the fan area has the most vibrating area and the loudest part of the noise. My laptop is just 1 year old. https://youtu.be/1dJ1Vnh9gpk

Hi,

Verify whether the laptop is still within the warranty period of 1 year.

If it is contact Asus customer support regarding a warranty repair. Even if it is just outside the warranty period by a week or so contact them anyway. A fan should last longer than 12 months.

You can prove whether it is the HDD or not by going into Control Panel Power Options go to the advanced options and set the HDD to turn off after a set period of time. When the HDD shuts down (to save power) if the noise is still there it will be the fan as it is the only other moving object.
