Can I use the memory of my N8 while he is disambled

I like to use my Nokia N8 once more to save photos that i stored on my N8.

There's one problem........he is proper disabled by myself but i dont know how a mobile working with removed screen.

Is there a connection between screen and mobile needed for a working memory?.

In a other way asked.........can a mobile working, while there's one or two connection(s) not connected.

The only thing i want is to see my N8 memory on my pc screen for saving data
