Video card replacement options for failed Radeon 5750 in 2010 iMac 27"

Machine: - 27 inch Mid 2010 / iMac11,3 / A1312 / EMC 2390 / MC784LL/A

2.93GHz i7, Radeon 5750

...I have replaced failed cards in these before, but the price of the one I had been going with before (Radeon 6770M) has been continually increasing, leading me to suspect that it's a discontinued model now getting scarce.

What other options are out there that are compatible with the 2010 iMac listed? Note: this machine will not be used for games, so bleeding edge speed is not necessary. Cost is the primary issue as I simply need to restore the computer to functionality,

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Oldturkey03, the 2.93GHz i7 2010 iMac does not appear on that list. While I might *guess* that only the motherboard is different between it and the other i-series 2010 iMac models, I'm not prepared to blow $250+ dollars on a card on a gamble.

That thread is over five years old and does not address this model iMac.

I have had great success using a hot air rework station reflowing these. Here's what I am using:

The word "these" refers to what, specifically? Failed failed Radeon 5750s?
