Screen won't turn on post replacement

Lost story short, a week ago I cracked my screen. My phone still worked fine, touchscreen and everything, but I wanted to replace my screen so I didn't have to deal with the frayed glass.

I bought a new screen and attempted a screen replacement. I powered down the phone and performed the replacement, and everything went pretty smoothly. I popped my screen back into place and powered it on, but have gotten no response from the screen.

I can tell that the phone is on, however, for several reasons such as when I call from other phones it will ring rather than go straight to voicemail. However, the phone itself will not ring or vibrate, or do anything, but, like I said, I know that it is on.

Also, I would do a hard reset with a computer, however, I no longer have the laptop that this phone recognizes and cannot continue on iTunes with another computer without being able to use the phone.

Does anybody have any possible explanations for this, or ways that they can help? Is it possible that I caused other damage during the replacement (there is nothing obvious that I can think of)?

Answer this question I have this problem too

The screen you got maybe it's already dead, try a new one or ask for a new one (warranty ).
