My screen has black lines across middle of it. PN50C450BLDXZA. Can it be repaired?

Most common for 2 possibilities.
1. Torn cable / loose internal connection cable
2. Dead motherboard (from circuit).

@acnologia what cable and which one is the motherboard?
@oldturkey03 Inside the screen , you will have the power motherboard in general terms and the main , there is a cable inside there that connects the LCD/Panel to the motherboard that sends the signal . If it's moved or torn , or directive , then it can make this error. Or some times is dead from the "circuit" like smd or glk_vol.
emmajjd horizontal or vertical stripes? Post some images with your question so we can seee what you see. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that. If it is a large vertical line,bring up the test picture or OSD menu. If the symptom affects the test picture or the OSD menu, replace one of the Buffer boards. We need more information to know which one etc.
