Can it be repaired?

Ok, it got a tiny bit of water on it. i immediatley took it apart dred it then put it in dry rice. left it there for 3 full days and nights. then on the eve of 3rd day took it out cleaned it up put it back together and on problem! The screen does not light up!I recieve call answer the talk. texts com it hear it all else seems to be working. So my question is,,, can it be repaired?????

Peggy Goldy that is a tough question. First lets start off by saying the rice is never a good choice. Great for dinner but not to repair phones etc. Check on here for more info.

You should always disassemble the device and properly clean it with some isopropyl alcohol. Check this guide to see how to clean a phone. It was written for an iPhone but all the points are still peritnent to your phone as well. Once properly cleaned you want to check the components on the board and see if there are some missing or look damaged. If those all look okay you could try a new display since you may have damaged either the backlight or worse. the backlight coircuity on the logic board. that would require some board level repairs. Post some iimages of what your logic board looks like (corrosion etc.) with your question. For that use this guide
