Powers on then turns off
When I turn the TV on 3 sec later it shuts it's self off. What could be the problem?

lvrbrndy until you can check the commented things out, you might want to consider checking the no power flow chart. Your issue appears to be related to the power failure circuit. You will need a multimeter to check those components.

lvrbrndy does the TV actually turn on or is it just the pwer light that turns on? what have you checked? Unplugged the set for a while and then tried again? Have you taken the back off to check for any bad components on the boards?
