How Durable/Tough is the Harddrive Ribbon Cable in the MacBook Pro!?

I just opened up the innards of my $800 dollar MacBook Pro bumping slightly into cables on the mother board while gently trying to pry the old ram out for a half hour then reinstalling the new ram. I also gently yanked the harddrive ribbon cable while forgetting it was still connected to the harddrive (but don't think I damaged it) and plugged in and screwed in the new ssd. It's downloading the Internet recovery files so with fingers crossed I will be able to reformat the new ssd.

I'm being ocd by the fact that I pulled on the ribbon connector forgetting it needs to be removed to take out the hard drive. I was forgetting that it was still hooked to the harddrive AND THIS was my biggest worry while reviewing the installation videos. It's got me worried that I may have damaged it. Assurance is kindly appreciated!?

Can't do it. I replace that cable weekly. It's gotten so bad that Apple is now replacing it for free on your exact model. It gets damaged as it comes over that last ledge. Apple now puts pads on either side of it to protect it from damage. If you find any issues with it, put the original drive back in, (don't mention that you worked on it, and take it to an ASP (they are no longer even required to send in the old cables. An ASP has a financial incentive as Apple pays them to do the work and provides a free cable. It's Apple part #604-07597.
