New Keyboard Backlight Not Working Right

Replaced my keyboard and backlight on my early 2011 macbook pro. Keyboard works. Backlight doesn't . I've ordered two. Both do the same thing. I took it to a computer repair shop. They couldn't fix it. In a nutshell it lights up down down the middle only. I've watched dozens of youtube videos on this. Nothing works.

I dont know why it put the pictures in the middle of my text.
