How can I reset my administrative password

I just purchased the Lenovo ideapad 100s.

I can not remember my password, to reset the password it is needing me to get the flash drive "reset wizard".

Can someone please help?

Thanks!

For Windows passwords, I always pull out my "SuperGrubDisk" CD and boot from that. It's free and is full of utilities.

Hi James,

Would this SuperGrubSticks be able to boot my laptop? Its not letting me change anything due to not having the password.

It should. It contains a complete Linux operating system. Just a little slimmed down, that's all, plus a bunch of fixit utilities.

Of course you could also download most Linux OSes and boot off of them. There's also a bunch of other free disk utilities you can get. Look under "rescue disks" here: https://www.techsupportalert.com/content...

Hirens boot CD is another good one.
