Battery original glue super hard to remove

Hello guys, first... I replaced an iPhone 5s battery before already, and it went well, but I need to heat the back of the phone to remove the adhesives because they were so hard to remove when I was pulling them so the broke... My question is, what can I do beside heating the back of phone to change the batteries on iPhones with adhesives in a friendly way? because I have so many costumers with those phones and it takes like 30 minutes to complete the replacement and actually I have a feeling that it can go wrong and I can break something(it happened to me already on an iPhone 5c).

On the other hand, I can't believe is so easy to replace batteries on the iphone 4, 4s and 5, because they have no adhesives like newer models. They take just 15 minutes to complete the replacement.

Will be better to heat the back of the phone before pulling the strips?

Hi,

I usually take off the vibration motor (for the 6) to have a better access to the tabs, for the 5s, just pull slowly and make sure its not hitting anything like the home button connector which can cause the tape to tear more easily

Thank you, do you heat the back of the phone before pulling the strips?

no, i guess it could help a little but not necessary, takes a bit of practice, my first couple iPhones it used to always rip, now it rarely does, when it does, i try to get the top part of the battery lifted a bit and take tweezers and try to pull from the top, usually works

Pull the tab out and then immediately sideways, the. You can pull the adhesive out easier from the sides.

If you pull it straight, it will get caught with the battery board stickers and gets stuck there. If that happens and you still try to pull it out, it will break.
