I have a choice of two heat-sinks

The first came from the machine with the burn out chip, it is solid, looks like it was cut from a solid block of aluminium, very pretty, but the super fan cuts in more. The second came with the sacrifical MDD, it is made of lots of very thin sheets of aluminium. As I am trying not to kill the new processer which is preferred

I would use the heat sink from the largest, fastest processor.

both processors are the same 1.25 mz dual MDD.
