Can I use the a laptop HD in an iMac?

I recently purchased a Segate 1 TB SSD Hybrid 2.5" Hard Drive for my MacBook Pro (Product code: IF107-122-1). However the MacBook's motherboard died and I'd like to use its hard drive in a 24" iMac Mid2007 (EMC 2134 2.8 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo). Does anyone know if I can use the MacBook HD in the iMac?

Options

You can, you'll just need a 2.5 inch to 3.5 inch hdd adapter. look on amazon, you can probably get one for like 10 to 20 bucks
