Why is there no voice capacity on the phone?
It would seem that my phone may have gotten wet. It still dials and can receive calls. However, nothing is heard: no voice out, no voice in.
What to do?

open the phone and clean everything with isopropyl alcohol and soft brush,pay attention to connectors 1-6, leave to dry overnight then power up. if still no sound then try replacing flex for dock/microphone, and flex for earpiece which is on midframe of display. (you could just buy a midframe to save the hassle)
