screen goes black when touched at top/gets very hot

this iphone 5 was dropped than it got a small yellow discoloration at the top of the screen as if pressure is being build, and if you press on that spot the screen will go black. The phone also heats up pretty high, but after it cools down the screen comes back on. any ideas? i've taken apart to check the wires of the lcd/digi/camera.

ya it does, it only started to do these problems after it was dropped. i forgot to add, there's a small heat sink that came off the ribbon cable to the lcd. it seems to have been soldered onto the ribbon cable. might try to re solder it on there. but worried about burning the ribbon

having trouble trying to re solder, not sure how to get this heatsink to get back into place.
