Unable to unscrew 1.2mm and 1.3mm Philips #000 screw.

I have the Philips #000 screwdriver from iFixit.

However, I seem to only be able to unscrew the 1.7mm screws. No luck with the smaller 1.2mm and 1.3mm screws. I am currently at this step.

Is this the expected scenario ?

Thanks in advance :)

Have you tried a little bigger driver? I normally use a 00 driver on iPhones.

Dang, I do not own a #00 driver. Will try to obtain one and see if it works.

Thanks for the info, I've been using #0 Phillips head on iPhones which is probably not optimal.

I got the screws out, used a screwdriver that I borrowed from a friend. Kinda disappointing that the ifixit screwdriver does not work..

Yeah sometimes I have to use the german phillips head screw driver that pretty much never gets worn out and works for philips head phone screws that are hard to take out.

i am having the same problem. Which screw driver did you get from your friend?
