Sim reader ripped pad, can't get past "insert sim"

Hello,

I got a 5c on eBay for 25 bucks and it has a defective sim reader. This was my first time replacing a sim reader. I accidentally ripped off one of the pads, and now it won't read sims obviously. I already have a new sim reader, but how would I fix the pad and make it work again? Or at least get past the activation screen?

If you find the drawings for that 5c board, you may be able to see the direction of its trace to be able to see where it is going. Once you can see where it is going you can gently scrape away the pcb in the surrounding area and make a VERY small jumper to a new pad that you can make from copper foil tape. It is very important to attempt to match the original wiring so find the thinnest piece of wire you can find and pre-tin it before you decide to actually apply it to the board to make it easier to bond when soldering onto the wire on the board.

No problem, take your time and get yourself a set of those magnifying glasses that you can actually wear, they work wonders when working on super small stuff like this.
