iPhone 5c won't charge after charging port replacement

I replaced the charging port and everything works fine, when I plug the lightning cable it shows charging icon right next to the battery but it doesn't charge up. Any idea? Thank you and sorry for the bad english

After several research, ended up buying new port, works flawless. I guess I shouldn't believe everysite claim selling OEM products. Thank you for replying

Is there any water damage related to this phone? Have you recently replaced the battery? It sounds to me that either the new charging port is bad or the battery has gone akput. leaning more towards the new connector.

No water damage, i'm fearing a bad charging port, battery hasn't been replaced, i guess it wasn't a good quality part. I'll buy a new one and let you know

Based on your other comment, it looks like a bad charging port for sure if the old part works. Try a new connector, if you are buying from ebay sort the listings by ones in north america. I find that you come across a better selection of parts. (people importing them dont want crap parts, its bad for business.)

@king_nothing that your "charging icon right" shows means your phone recognizes it. You did not tell us why you replaced the port in the first place. It is possible that this is caused by a failed charging IC. Common failure on iPhones that where charged with after market chargers. Yes, replace the battery as well, but it may need some board level repair. Check the componenets around the battery connector and the charging IC.

Thanks for the reply! I replaced the port because the little home button connector that is near the speaker was broken, I'm fearing a bad charging port because I put the old one again and it charges without any issue.

"put the old one again and it charges without any issue." perfect. Good job.
