I have changed the thermostats and hi limit fuses 2 times. After reassemble, dryer starts fine. Sometime during the cycle, the heating coil goes out. clothes continue to tumble until timer shuts machine. What could be "blowing" the fuses? tested coil for continuity and it is good.

I'd have a look at the inside and look at the coil in particular to see if there is anything that could be causing it to overcurrent on you. Usually the coil heater systems are pretty basic.

What does "overcurrent" mean? The coil would heat up but I've noticed that the front of the coil did not light up when the rest of it did. If the coil was broken, it wouldn't light, correct? When tested with a multi meter, it has continuity.
Well, you are saying when you turn it on it works for a while but then the fuse blows right? When that is happening, the coil is drawing too many amps. If there is nothing obvious to see it may be worth spraying some contact cleaner on the coils *WITH THE POWER UNPLUGGED*.

Also checked exhaust pipe. Seems clear.

Replaced coil, high-limit fuse and thermostat, and the same thing happened. Coil goes on and in 5 or so minutes, blows the fuse and goes out. Dryer continues to spin but with no heat. Any other ideas??

@jorden just to recap. You replaced the Heating element, the thermal fuse as well as the cycling thermostat? Any chance you can post the part numbers for those pieces?
