Overheated iPhone(+ultra bat drain)

Hi therr

My iphone 5 which was actually not using from 2012 till now has overheating when in use (even low light and doing normal tasks)

And drains battery like a monster

. I charge twice a day =max 4 h continus use

Aiplane mode with wifi on

Im scared to play games cause gets very very hot to touch

Ios9.3.2 (same issue with 8.x)

It sounds like you may have a short somewhere. It could be a bad component or maybe a small piece of solder that came loose. You should power the phone off and do not charge it until you have it looked at by a board repair specialist. The battery could catch fire or worse explode.

My phone has been repaired for simcard detection before, dont you think its u2 ic? Or if its shorted how it works fine without any failture

It's hard to tell what the problem might be. It could be a short it could be a bad component. There are methods for board repair specialists to determine the are on the board that is having a problem and go from there. Regardless or the problem Lipro fires are nasty and batteries under that stress can explode or catch fire.

@javid_zare_s agree with most of what Mike is telling you. However, I'd repalce the battery first and start from there. If you have "not using from 2012 till now " it is easily possible that your battery is the part that is giving you trouble,.
