Port replaced, not charging.

Had a customer bring in an iPhone 6s that wasn't charging wanting a new charging port.

I replaced the port (have done many of them) and iPhone is not charging now.

Any ideas? Screen is black, no charge icon.

Have you tested a new battery? Often times it's either one or the other, sometimes both.
