I am thinking on buying this cellphone in order to repair it and sell it for some profit and I would like to know what parts will I need to replace and how much would it cost me?

It's difficult to tell from just a picture. If you have access to the phone, I would test all of the functionality to be sure. If it's not cloud locked and it's just the digitizer and LCD replacement, you can get the assembly from this site for around $140.
Oh! Cloud locked refers to the icloud account still being logged into the phone and nobody has the password. The phone will not allow you to use it unless you enter the password. You will be able to tell after the initial setup.

It is not Cloud locked and according to the owner, the only disfunctionality is the screen. I am far from being an expert, but I have read that it is possible to replace only the digitizer, is that true? How do I know if I need to replace the LCD, digitizer or both?
I am unaware of an option to just replace the digitizer. Even if there was the option there is a very high possibility of getting dust dirt and smudges on the LDC and in-between the LCD and digitizer.

Firstly you definitely have to chance the whole screen, because you can't change the glass, because it sticks to the display. But if you can't test it if everything else is working it is hard to say whats to change. If you can, test all functions before you buy it.
