Cracked Screen-what parts to I need to buy?

I have the mentioned phone. The screen is cracked from dropping it on a rock. The crack is not bad. But, the touchscreen part will not work. It powers on fine and functions. It is just getting the screen to pick up the motion of your finger. What parts do I need to buy? Just the screen? Or, do I need to order the frame as well?

Is it worth fixing? Or should I just get a new phone? I only owe $230 on the phone through ATT...

Shannon,

You'll want to replace the whole assembly if your digitizer isn't working.

If you're not experienced in repair, buying the frame would allow you to transfer over parts like your motherboard, charging port, etc. Which I have found a lot easier because the display is already glued from the factory. -> LG G3 Screen

If you would consider yourself decent at repairs and willing to take a risk, you'll still want the display assembly, but you don't need the frame included. This does mean that you'll need an adhesive to keep the display connected to the frame, personally I'd recommend some small red tape, nothing larger than 2mm in width.

hope this helps your decision!
