Remote will do everything except on/off, volume and source. Model is approx 5 yrs old. We have tried changing remote but no difference.

@boxofivehands if you are 100% sure that your remote works, then you most likely have an issue with the IR board on your television. It will help if you can give us the proper model number so we can try and find out more information on how to change that board for your TV.

Looks like the remote receiver is located with the power button on your TV. On your main board is a cable that is connected to the power button board. The connector is CN201. Follow that cable to get to your Power switch (IO board)
