Backlight problem on my phone?

After dropping my phone for the last time, I can't see anything at all. I did try unlocking the phone remembering where I would usually press on for my password. It does make keypad sounds. I can also receive texts and calls from people. I left it home and came back to it before sleeping. I can see something on the screen which is the lock screen. I could barely see it though. The room has to be really dark to see it. I searched it online and it might be that the backlight port inside the iphone (I don't know what its actually called). I've already went to a repair in which they tested it using a new lcd screen and still barely can see the screen. Any ideas?

For a fix like this it requires board level repair of backlight components on the logic board. It's best you take it to a store that fixes backlight issues.
