Why can't I see the screen when I wear a Polarized sunglasses

anybody meet with this problem?can some one tell me why this happened?

Yep, I think you are right. This is the same for any other LCD pretty much. They have a layer of polarizing film on the display. Without them you wouldn't be able to see the image being displayed on the screen. Sometimes with some sunglasses you look at a angle at a screen and you can't see it at all, you look at another angle then you can see whats on the screen.

it might have something to do with the polarizing film behind the LCD, cancelling each other out?
