Security password wont allow me to open phone after email set up!

After setting up my exchange email up it reqs I use a pin/password. All set up and afterwards phone wont allow me to access. Says pin/password I set up is incorrect and after several attempts resets itself! Even after disabling all security settings still wont allow me to access...anyone have this issue? Even tried setting up thru Google as additional account. Thanks
