Mobo from WIFI device to my LTE device compatibility

After updating to Lollipop my LTE 32 GB device is bricked.

Want to repair it with MOBO from WIFI device. Is it OK to repair my LTE device with that particular MOBO ?

Nexus 7 (2nd Gen Wi-Fi) Motherboard

I understand that i will loose my LTE, but at least i will have my device ON for reading or youtube.
