Wifi grayed out after a screen replacement and after changing antenna

Hello guys,

I cracked my screen recently and I decided to order a new one, after changing it, my wifi was graded out in settings ( impossible to turn it on ) and even in the control center. So I've been looking to to fix this out and I saw that I'll have to order a new Wifi/Bluetooth antenna... After receiving it ( today) I replaced the old antenna by the new one and my wifi is still not working. If anyone can help that would be very very cool.

Thanks

Pierre

Try resetting your network settings.

Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you've used before.

Wifi switch graying out is a board issue, it won't change even if you replace a million antennas.

So I need to change the main board? Thanks

No that would not make any economical sense, since it is too expensive and breaks Touch ID and likely carrier contracts. I would recommend finding a technician to repair the original board.
