Why is the touch screen unresponsive?

I dropped my iPhone 6s and cracked the screen. Brough it to the repair shop to get it replaced. After replacement some of the letter "n" and "j" are unresponsive.

The strangest thing is that quite often the touch starts to do things itself. It goes into apps and opens messages itself.

Is this most likely a faulty digitiser or could it be something else ?

Hello,

This looks like a faulty digitizer. I meet this problem before and i fixed it by replacing the lcd assembly with a new one. You should have a warranty on that repair and they should change it with a new one.

I have the warranty so they will replace it. Is it possible that the 3D Touch isn't functioning correctly because of the fault in the digitiser ?

by

Yes, because the 3d touch is part of the screen. Everything should work fine after they replace it.

Great, thanks very much. Was just making sure. Screen was genuine from what I've been told. €150

Genuine or not they can still be faulty screens FYI.
