Removing the LCD of a Note 3 from main frame. HELP?

I am working on a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 that has a pretty beat up mid and main frame.. I am wondering if anyone has been successful at removing the LCD from the main frame where the LCD is attached with adhesive? Is it even possible without breaking the LCD? I just want to replace the main frame because it has a crack and its chipped off but this requires the whole LCD to be separated from the main frame.. I don't want to break it.

Yes, it is possible...but if the device has been "beaten up" it will take some time, patience, and a fair amount of heat. I would encourage you to use a heat gun liberally but not too much because the lcd can be damaged moderately easily if you heat it up too much. Use an iSesamo or other flat opening tool and gently slide it under the lcd after applying heat and work from the bottom to the top. Be careful and remember that there are delicate parts under there. Important note...just take your time and don't get frustrated.

Do you have any videos or links? I would like to kind of get an idea of how to deal with the whole process.

You should be able to find one here in iFixit. If not, let me know and I can put one together for you.

I have seen teardown instructions but I have been unable to find instructions on how to separate LCD from main frame. If you could put one together I would forever be grateful. Thanks!
