water damage everything sounds right, black screen

Rain got in my pocket with the phone, I did everything wrong, ( no rice) . wiped off the water, opened it up, it seemed dry, plugged it into the charger turned it on, and the start up screen began to fizzle out, every time I turned it on, it got worse the screen is totally black now, but it does turn on, makes all of the familiar vibrations, and sounds Bluetooth connects, the little blue light flashes for notifications, turns red turns on when I charge it. whats the best course of action. what do I need to replace, or not.

I'd clean the logic board and ribbon connectors first before replacing screen with 99% isophryl alcohol.

Chosen Solution

Open the device up, clean the entire logic board with 99.9% isopropyl alcohol and a toothbrush, make sure you avoid getting alcohol inside the microphones, as these get damaged very easily, this is the DIY solution, or you can take it to a professional repair shop that uses ultrasonic cleaning. :-)
