I'm not sure what you're asking, but I'll give an answer. You can upgrade the operating system of a Touch via iTunes. You cannot upgrade any of the hardware. If you want a more powerful Touch, you have to buy it.

The only way is to replace the motherboard to 16 or 32 GB versions (1st generation ipod boards)
