Replaced battery loses health real quick

MacBook Air 13" Mid 2012 2.0Ghz i7 8GB

Hey guys,

i replaced my original battery with a new one from ifixit following the instructions.

everything worked fine so far.

but now, after 10 cycles, the battery already lost 10% of its health.

it started with 7.2xx mAh (i dont know the exact number anymore)

now it's at 6.546 mAh

is there something going one that should not be going on?

i'm running osx 10.11.5

i already did SMC reset etc.

thank you!

First take a better look at the battery using this app: http://www.coconut-flavour.com/coconutba...

A 10% loos on a battery is not that significant. Batteries and built put in a box and shipped. There is a shelf life and I seldom every see a new battery at over 95%. You can put a notice in to iFixit that there may be a possible defect so it's on notice but give it a month.
